Marie E. (Clemente) Tirocchi

93, of Warwick, formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio L. “Tony” Tirocchi. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Rocco and Barbara (Rickaby) Clemente. Marie was a supervisor for the former Marvel Jewelry Company of Cranston and Tru-kay Jewelry & Manufacturing Company of Lincoln for many years before her retirement. She was an avid reader,  enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving children, Angela M. Tirocchi of Providence and Barbara Ann Porrazzo and her husband Paul of Cranston. She was the cherished grandmother of Linda Lonczak and her husband Anthony of Warwick, and the great grandmother of  Anthony Jr. and Andrea. Marie was the sister of Barbara Silva of Rehoboth, MA and the late Frank, Rose, Joseph, Anna, Albert, Michael, and Theresa Clemente.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS  Tuesday 4-7 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston.
