Martha J. (Wegner) Cerra

90, of Johnston, passed away on Tuesday May 12, 2015 at Cedar Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cranston. She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas " Nick " Cerra.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Edward Earl and Stella ( McKinley) Wegner. Martha was a clerk at the 8th division district court of RI retiring as clerk of the 6th division court. After her retirement she and her daughter sold handmade quilts at local craft shows. She was a member of the Johnston Senior Center quilting group.
Martha was the loving mother of Nannette Molloy and Nicholas Jr. and his wife Sally-Anne Cerra all of Cranston; cherished grandmother of Scott, Craig and his companion Lisa Akroyd and Lauren Cerra. She was the mother in law of the late William R. Molloy and sister of the late Betty Iannuccilli. Martha is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday at 8 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston. Visiting hours are Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
