Martha (Mitola) Tortolani

94, of Johnston, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 1, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Americo Tortolani. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Mitola Sr., and Martha (Gallacher) Mitola. Martha made many friends along the way working at Ferro Novelty, Golini Drugs and Walgreens.

Martha is survived by her loving children, Robert Tortolani and his wife Lynn of Hope, and Patricia Magill and her husband John of Johnston. She was the cherished grandmother of Kendra Prattico, Jenna Wisher and her husband Jason Wisher, Ariana Tortolani, Matthew Tortolani, and Michael Tortolani. Martha was the sister of the late Joseph Mitola Jr., husband of the late Barbara Mitola, V. George Mitola, husband of the late Dorothy Mitola, Grace Mitola, and Delores Tice, wife of the late Marion Tice.

Her funeral services are respectfully private.
