Mary (Nagikian) Arsenian

85, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016.  She was the beloved wife of the late Ara Arsenian and mother of two.

Mary was born in Athens, Greece and moved to Yerevan, Armenia in 1948. In 1957 she and her husband moved to Moscow, Russia and immigrated with her family to the United States in 1975.

She was the precious mother of Deana Arsenian and her husband Mark Malkasian and Arsen Arsenian and his wife Natalia; loving aunt of Tigran Makarian and his wife Alexandra and Andrew Arsenian and his wife Sherstine; and devoted sister-in-law of Araksia Makarian and Christopher Arsenian. Mary dedicated the last twenty years of her life to raising her three grandchildren, Araik, Armen and Anais.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Tuesday, August 23rd at 11 a.m. in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence.  Burial will take place at a later date.
