Mary (Ampagoomian) Garabedian

MARY (AMPAGOOMIAN) GARABEDIAN, 98, of North Providence, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Golden Crest Nursing Home in North Providence.  She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Garabedian. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Piligian) Ampagoomian.

Mary was the devoted mother of Carol Garabedian and Gail Garabedian, both of North Providence and Robin Silvestri and her husband Ronald of Cranston; cherished grandmother of Matthew and Jason Silvestri; and dear sister of Rose Ampagoomian of North Providence, Harry Ampagoomian and his wife Pamela of Columbia, MD, and the late Agnes Ayrassian.  She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

VISITING HOURS are Wednesday Morning, January 31st from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, with a Funeral Service at 11 a.m., followed by burial at North Burial Ground, Providence.
