Mary Jane (Smith) Lareau
86, of Narragansett, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Roberts Health Center, North Kingstown. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis L. Lareau, Sr. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late William and Mercedes (Meakin) Smith.
Mary Jane was a former member of the Dunes Club and Point Judith Country Club. She was an avid reader, bridge player and sports enthusiast.
She is survived by her loving children, Michael Lareau and his wife Suzanne of Narragansett, Susan Lareau of Narragansett, Sarah Lareau of Pascoag and the late Francis Lareau, Jr.; cherished grandchildren Jennifer Erickson and Jacob Lareau. She was the dear sister of the late William Smith and Nancy O'Donnell.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory- SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt. 1A) Narragansett at 8:00 am on Monday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Veronica Chapel, 1035 Boston Neck Rd., Narragansett. Burial will be private.
