77, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 19, 2015 in the arms of Hugo her beloved husband. Lee Lee and Hugo R. Mainelli, Jr. were married for 58 years. She remained optimistic, resilient and selfless throughout her illness. Born in Providence, the daughter of the late Leo Herbert and Alice Herbert Gorman, Lee Lee grew up in Warwick, graduated from Warwick Veterans Memorial High School in Warwick and later attended Endicott College in Beverly, MA. She and Hugo built a house on family property in Warwick and raised their 6 children there before moving to Narragansett in 2001. Lee Lee was devoted to being a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and her exemplary life was a reflection of her strong Catholic faith. She loved to cook, entertain, and travel. She enjoyed vacationing in Naples, Florida in the winter, but most of all, Lee Lee loved spending time with her family where she always created a welcoming, happy, and loving environment for all. Lee Lee was a member of The Dunes Club and Pt. Judith Country Club in Narragansett. In addition to her husband Hugo, she is survived by her loving children, Chip Mainelli and his wife Jozy of Narragansett, Susan Kindregan and her husband Stephen of Attleboro, MA, Mark Mainelli of Providence, Tom Mainelli of Sonoma, CA, Kate Nani and her husband Doug and their children Reed and Brooke of Providence, and Joe Mainelli and his wife Carrie, and their children Sophie and Jack of San Francisco, CA, her sister Jane Auger and her husband Ray of Howie in the Hills, FL. She was also the sister of the late Joseph Herbert of East Greenwich, RI and sister- in- law of Kim Herbert of East Greenwich, RI. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:30am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 128 High St., Wakefield and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME and Crematory, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL , 1111 Boston Neck Rd., (Rt. 1A), Narragansett on Friday from 3-5pm.
