Mary G. Martone

84, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 25, 2015, at the home of her daughter. She was the beloved wife of the late Bartholomew V. Martone for 33 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Orlando and Eugenia. (Ronga) Pagnozzi. Mary was a special education aide and teacher assistant for the town of Johnston for 21 years before her retirement in 1990. Mary is survived by her sons, Victor, and Bartholomew and his wife Roseann, her daughters, Lori Vinci and her husband Vincent and Rebecca Macari and Anthony, Jr .She was the grandmother of Brandon, Kristen, Anthony, Michael, Candice, Vanessa and Felicia; she was also the great grandmother of four. Mary was the sister of Alfonso, Edith Santilli, Rose Autiello, Gloria Grantmaier, Anna Demus, Barbara Fiori, Jennie Mollicone and predeceased by her brother Onofrio Pagnozzi. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, at 9:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
