92, of Johnston, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. Formerly of Providence, she grew up in the Simmonsville section of Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Paiva, whom she married in 1950. Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Alvina (Cantone) Russo. Mary retired from the former Trifari Jewelry Company after twenty five years of service. She is survived by her siblings, Ann Chirichella of Providence, Madeline Travelyn, Ida Acciardo, Elizabeth Fleury, Alfred Russo, all of Johnston, and the late Vincent Russo, Jr. and Florence Centofante. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted.
