MARY (ROTONDO) RICCARDI
95, of Johnston, passed away on Friday November 1, 2013 at Morgan Health Center in Johnston. She was the wife of the late John "Jake" Riccardi. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Nicolina (Martuccelli) Rotondo. Mary worked for the former Speidel Manufacturing Company as a supervisor for 20 years before retiring in 1982.
She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella at Our Lady of Grace Church and a member of the Johnston Senior Citizens.
She was the devoted mother of Cynthia Algasso of Johnston and Joseph Riccardi of North Providence; loving grandmother of five; and loving great-grandmother of three. She was the dear sister of the late Carmella, Lena, Frank and Joseph Rotondo and the late Josephine DeRobbio. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd. Johnston at 11 a.m. Visiting Hours are TUESDAY MORNING from 9 a.m. -10 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
