MARY (LUCCA) DEL SESTO

90, of Flanders Street, Johnston, passed away on Tuesday, November 05, 2013 at RI Hospital, Providence. Mary was the wife of the late Ralph DelSesto. Born in Baia e Latina, Provincia Caserta, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Maddalena (Paglia) Lucca. Mary lived in Providence for 30 years, before settling in Johnston. She was secretary to Dr. Michael Bolvin for 24 years, retiring in 1983.

Mrs. DelSesto leaves 2 sons; Ralph DelSesto, Jr. and his wife Diana of Coventry, and Stephen P. DelSesto and his wife Joanne of Johnston. She was the grandmother of Brian DelSesto, Laura Horton and her husband Randy, and Kristina Chagnon and her husband Richard, and great grandmother of Savannah Horton and Giuliana Chagnon. Mary was the sister of Theresa "Terri" Geremia and her husband Lou, and the late Angelo Lucca.

Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston at 11 a.m. Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Friday morning from 8:30-10:00 a.m.
