87, of Narragansett, formerly of Westerly, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 peacefully at home. She was the beloved wife of Donald J. Sullivan for 65 years. Born in Elmira, NY on January 14, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Grace (Cronin) Kelly.
Mary Grace graduated from Elmira Free Academy class of 1945. She was also a graduate of Elmira College, Cornell University, and New York Hospital class of 1950. She married her husband Donald J. Sullivan in 1950. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Elmira, NY for many years. She and her husband lived in many different states across the United States. She was active in Pre Cana, Problem Pregnancy, St. James Prayer Group, was a Registered Public Health Nurse for many years, and developed a strong interest in the real estate field. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Charlestown and St. Veronica Chapel in Narragansett. She was an avid reader, a true people person, and a devout Catholic.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Molly Zelley and her husband Albert of Massachusetts, Timothy Sullivan and his wife Judy of Arizona, Patrick Sullivan of Florida, Daniel Sullivan and his wife Claire of North Carolina, Katherine Sullivan of Connecticut, and Brendan Sullivan and his wife Karen of Massachusetts; 10 cherished grandchildren, Ted, Katie, Colleen, Daniel, Bridget, Maggie, Brendan, Erin, Grace, and Luke. She is also survived by many loving and caring friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland St., Narragansett, RI. Burial will take place at a later date in Watkins Glen, NY. VISITING HOURS will be Monday from 3 - 7 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd.
