Mary Taraian

formerly of Amelia St., North Providence, passed away peacefully January 22, 2017 at Tockwotton on the Waterfront in East Providence.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Barsam and Haiganoush “Agnes” (Bedigian) Taraian; beloved sister of Peter Taraian and his wife Roberta of Barrington and Teresa Taraian of East Providence.  She was the dear aunt of Peter and his wife Kathleen, David and his wife Lynette, Gary and his wife Sonya, and Mikel and his wife Lisa. She also leaves behind many great nieces and great nephews.

Mary was a long time member of Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church and choir, and the ACYOA. She worked at Coro Mfg. as a secretary and later at United Plating as an office manager.

In keeping with Mary’s wish, her funeral service will be private.
