Mary 'Ursula' (Mahoney) Duffy

92, of Wakefield, formerly of Scituate, passed away on Tuesday July 22, 2014, in Wakefield. She was the beloved wife of John "Jack" Duffy for 67 years. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late James and Mary (Rigby) Mahoney. Ursula was a secretary for Brown University for many years until retiring in 1988. Mrs. Duffy served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and later in the Active Naval Reserves retiring in 1975. Both Jack and Ursula were founders and active members of Holy Apostles Church. She enjoyed traveling and painting. Ursula was the sister of the late Eileen M. Relahan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, Cranston. Entombment will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Holy Apostles Church Memorial Society, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd, Cranston, RI, 02921.
