Mary A. (Hazelwood) Vigeant

76, of Johnston, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. Mary was the beloved wife of Armand Vigeant. Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Hall) Hazelwood. Mrs. Vigeant was employed at FGXI for thirty years, before retiring to care for her grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her three children; Kevin J. Vigeant and his wife Karen of Glastonbury, CT, Jim Vigeant and his wife Denice, and Maureen Martino and her husband Roland, Jr., all of Johnston. Mary was the cherished grandmother of Derric, Nicholas, Jesse, Kaitlyn and Kyle. Mrs. Vigeant's entire world revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary was also the sister of Robert Hazelwood, Ann LaColle, William Hazelwood, and was predeceased by four brothers and sisters.

Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Robert Bellarmine Parish at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Tuesday 4:00-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, Food Pantry, 1804 Atwood Ave, Johnston, RI 02919.
