Mary S (Sahagian) Yediares

88, formerly of Cranston, passed away at home in the loving care of her son and daughter on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Avedis Sahagian and Zabel Sahagian(Nazarian).

Mary earned her Cosmetology license after graduating from Central High School in 1953.  She worked on the East Side of Providence for many years on both Thayer St and on Waterman St where, after taking time off from her trade to raise her family while also working mothers hours, returned to work at the Roy Watts Salon reuniting with her  former fellow cosmetologists and friends with whom she shared many fond memories of their shared youth while making new ones as they matured.

Mary was a devoted, loving and caring mother and person who always provided her unrelenting protection, support and love to her children.  Her ever present resilience and strength carried her through her life and most recent challenging last years.  Mary was the beloved mother of son, Andrew Yediares(Kim) and daughter, Zabel Yediares.

She is predeceased by her sister, Margaret Mooradian. Besides her children, she leaves her sister Kohar(Kay) Muksian, 3 nephews and a niece.  Her funeral services will be private .  Donations-Diabetes-Neurological research.
