MaryAnn Faiola

Surrounded by her family, MaryAnn Faiola passed away on August 27, 2017, age 55, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the beloved mother of Nina De Martino of North Providence, Michael DeMartino of Cranston and Nicholas DeMartino of Los Angeles, CA.

Born in Providence, RI to Salvatore and Olga (Conti) Faiola, MaryAnn was employed at Santander Bank though she was a talented floral designer and owner of Creations in Bloom. She expressed her artistry and passion for fashioning beauty through her inspiring decorations and unique floral arrangements. More importantly, MaryAnn loved spending time with her family and friends — and her two dogs Spunky and Minnie.

Besides her parents, she leaves behind her sister Sandra D’Amico, and her husband Michael D'Amico, of North Scituate, as well as her brother Steven Faiola of Johnston. She was a nurturing aunt to nephews Jason and Joey D’Amico of North Scituate.

Visitation will be at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday, August 31 from 4-8 p.m. Her funeral will be held on Friday, September 1 at 9:45 a.m. beginning at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church, 472 Atwells Avenue, Providence. Burial will take place at St. Ann Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the RI S.P.C.A., 186 Amaral Street, East Providence, RI 02915.
