Matilde (Chalas) Corporan

87, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at RI Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Julio Corporan. Born in the Dominican Republic, a daughter of the late Julio and Ramona (German) Chalas.

She is survived by her loving children, Noris Corporan de Garcia, Francisca Corporan de Serverino, Victor Anibal Corporan, Celsa Maria Corporan del Pozo, Luis Manuel Corporan, Iris Yinette Corporan and Jacqueline Corporan. She was also the sister of Rosa Amelia Chalas, Miguel Chalas, Rafael Chalas, Concepcion Chalas, Maria Chalas, Ramon Robles Chalas and Eduviges Margarita Chalas and was also the grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 5. Matilde was also the sister of the late Julio Robles and Ludovina Rodriguez Chalas.

Her Visiting hours will be held on Monday evening, October 10th from 4-8pm in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday October 11th, at 11 am in the funeral home followed graveside services in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
