Matthew J. Ginolfi

of Johnston, passed away peacefully with his devoted family by his side, on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Roger Williams Hospital in Providence.  He was the beloved best friend and companion of Donna Ann Nardolillo of Johnston.  Born in Providence, Matthew was a son of the late Albert and Amelia (Pesche) Ginolfi.  Matthew was employed in the Highway Department for the City of Cranston for many years, before his retirement.  Mr. Ginolfi was a member of Local 1322 and leaves behind his brothers of the Laurel Hill Social Club.

Besides Donna, he also leaves behind his daughter Christine DeVincenzis and her husband Vincent of Cranston.  Matthew was the cherished grandfather of Talia and Gabriella DeVincenzis.  He was the step father of Rayna Nardolillo and Gina Ginolfi, and step grandfather of Noella and Peyton Ginolfi.  Mr. Ginolfi was the dear brother of Carol DiSano and her husband Anthony of Delray Beach, FL, and Albert Ginolfi of Johnston.  He also leaves behind many other extended family members.

His funeral service will begin on Friday, December 29th at 4:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston.  Visiting hours will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m.  Burial will be private.  Kindly omit flowers.
