Michael Florio, Jr.

76, of Foster, passed away on October 11, 2022.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Michael, Sr. and Anna (Petrone) Florio.

He was a truck driver for many years before retiring. He was a member of Smithfield Avenue Congregational Church.

He leaves three children, Michael Florio, III and his wife Melisa of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Gina Florio-Matera and her husband Eugene Matera of Foster and Leeann Grimaldi and her husband Michael Grimaldi of Plainfield, CT; eight grandchildren, Caitlyn Hocking, Michael Florio IV, Destiny Florio, Michalia Florio, Michael Grimaldi, Matthew Grimaldi, Michaela Grimaldi and Marissa Grimaldi; and eight great-grandchildren, James, Antonio, Theodore, Leonardo, Annalia, Daymon, Braydn, and Natalya. His funeral and burial will be private.
