Michael D. Genao

of Cranston and East Providence, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 at RI Hospital in Providence.  He was a son of Joanna Genao and Miguel Angel Lantigua.  Michael was the step-son of Dennis J. Almonte.  Michael was employed as a salesperson at Rent-A-Center.

Besides his loving mother and step-father, he is also survived by his dear brother Alex Genao of Cranston.  Michael was the cherished grandson of Roque N. Genao, his Grandfather of Providence, Georgina Genao, his Grandmother of Brooklyn, NY, and Ann Almonte, his step-grandmother.  He was also the nephew of his mother’s brother, Max Genao and his wife Chisato of Tokyo, Japan.

His funeral service will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday evening, August 17th at 7:00 p.m.  VISITING HOURS: Thursday 5:00-8:00 p.m.  Burial will be private.
