Michael A. Iaciofano, Jr

88, of North Kingstown, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015, at Kent Hospital, Warwick. Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Michael and Assunta Iaciofano, Sr. Mr. Iaciofano was an Army Veteran serving in WWII. He was a carpenter for L Vaughn Company for many years until his retirement; he also loved to fish and quahog. Michael is survived by his loving children, Joyce Iaciofano of Narragansett, Lorraine Rignall and her husband Daniel of Maine, Michael Iaciofano, III. and his wife Barbara of Georgia and Justin Iaciofano of North Kingstown. He was the cherished grandfather of Christopher and Lauren Iaciofano, a brother of Nancy Simmons of Florida, Jeanette Shutt of Cranston, the late John Iaciofano, Mary Mertin and Victor Iaciofano. Relatives and friends will be gathering on Friday, at the administrative building at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, at 9:15 a.m. followed by a military service at 9:30 a.m. VISITING HOURS: will be held on Thursday from 4:00-7:00 p.m., at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & crematory, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road (Rt. 1A), Narragansett.
