Michael J. Martin
71, of Johnston, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband for 22 years of Marilyn (Farfaglia) Martin. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Vincent A. and Sabatina (Albanese) Martin.
Michael was a customer service representative at Sears in Providence for many years before retiring.
Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Carleen B. McCoy and her husband Bob, Steven M. Martin, Debora M. Saritelli and her husband James and Brian E. Franklin; loving grandfather of three; and dear brother of Vincent Martin and Frances Martin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave., Providence. Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS are Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
