Michael A. Mastronardi
59, of Johnston, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2014. Born in Providence, he was a son of Mary (Scungio) Mastronardi of Johnston and the late Domenic A. Mastronardi.
Michael was the proprietor of Salon de Maik in Johnston for 35 years. He was also an employee of Target in Warwick. He was a graduate of Johnston High School class of 1973. He loved gardening, collecting antiques, was a history buff and a craftsman of all trades. His joy in life was spending time with his two beloved nieces, Brianna and Lauren.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his loving sister, Diane Mastronardi of Johnston, and was the brother of the late Dr. Robert D. Mastronardi. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Brianna, Lauren, Michelle, Danielle, and Jon.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be Monday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd. Suite 3004, Warwick, R.I. 02886.
