Michael J. Mullaney

of Johnston, passed away on Tuesday March 14, 2017 at home. He was the beloved husband of the late Mildred J. (Wood) Mullaney. Born in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late Martin and Doris (Kapinos) Mullaney. Michael was a US Coast Guard veteran serving in the Vietnam era retiring after 22 years as a Senior Chief. After retirement he became a maintenance manager for the US Postal Service for 20 years.

He was the devoted father of Matthew J. Mullaney and his wife Beth of Coventry; loving grandfather of McKenna and Olivia Mullaney; and dear brother of Roxann Maloney of Cranston.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco’s Church 931 Atwood Ave. Johnston at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors will be in Highland Memorial Park , Johnston. Visiting hours are Monday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
