Michael A. Petrosinelli

Jun 2, 1970 — Sep 12, 2026

Michael A. Petrosinelli

passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on June 2, 1970, in Providence, he was the son of Linda J. (D’Amico) Petrosinelli of Johnston and the late Anthony G. “Tony” Petrosinelli.

Michael built a respected career as a Main Replacement Lead Tech with RI Energy, where he devoted 20 years of service. A proud member of The United Steelworkers of America Local 12431, he was honored with a Life Member plaque in recognition of his longstanding dedication, hard work, and commitment to those he worked alongside throughout his career.

Outside of work, Michael enjoyed golfing, fishing, and cooking for his friends and family. He especially loved traveling with his friends, taking yearly trips to Florida, Las Vegas and Saratoga Springs, NY. Known for his generosity, kindness, and unwavering willingness to help others, Michael was the type of person who would drop everything to lend a hand whenever needed. He was a loyal and devoted friend whose sense of humor and quick wit could always make people laugh.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his brother, Anthony G. Petrosinelli, Jr and his wife Melissa of Cranston, along with his beloved niece, Samantha.

Though our hearts are broken by his loss, the love Michael shared, the laughter he brought, and the countless acts of kindness he gave so freely will never be forgotten, and he will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend VISITING HOURS on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the funeral home.
