Michael Pietros, 34, of Boca Raton, FL, originally of Cranston, RI, died unexpectedly at home on July 16, 2023. Born at home in Cranston, RI, he was the son of Claudia (Ricci) Pietros and Steven Pietros. Michael was a graduate of the Cranston High School West Class of 2007 and subsequently earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Rhode Island College. He was employed in the luxury jewelry trade.
He is predeceased by his loving grandparents, Phyllis and Reggie Ricci and Clara and Al Pietros. Along with his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Stephanie Pietros and her husband Timur Pakay of Bronx, NY, and Camille Thomas and her husband Scott of Seekonk, MA, his nephew Oliver, nieces Eleanor, Anna, and Cecilia, as well as beloved aunts, an uncle, cousins, and many friends.
Michael was an affable and charismatic person who loved the outdoors, working out, golfing, playing hockey and the drums, and walking his French bulldog, Champ. Michael was a character who made others laugh. In his quieter moments, he showed a great capacity for learning and support and was shaped by key friends and mentors. He was a faithful friend and will be deeply missed by everyone whose life has been touched by him.
His funeral will leave Wednesday July 26, 2023, at 9:00 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston, RI 02920. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery. VISITING HOURS will be held Tuesday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm.
