Michael E. Thatcher

59, of Warwick, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, March 22, 2018. Born in Warwick, He was the beloved son of Victor E. Thatcher and his wife Carol of Cape Coral, FL and the late Barbara (Baird) Thatcher. Michael was a graduate of Pilgrim High School in Warwick. Later in his life, he was employed at Rhode Island Hospital for several years before retiring. Michael had a strong bond with his dogs, and enjoyed walking them daily.

He is survived by his siblings; loving sister Robbin V. Shackleton and her husband Clayton of North Palm Beach, FL; loving brother David W. Thatcher and his fiancée Kellie Kocienda of Bonita Springs, FL; dear nephew and nieces, Clayton Jr., Lindsey and Julia.

A private graveside service will be held on Thursday at 12:00 noon in Pawtuxet Memorial Park Cemetery, Warwick.
