49, of Mount Pocono, PA, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2015, at Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, PA. Born in Providence, he was a loving son of Angelo and Elida (Valdez) Violante. Mr. Violante was a 5 star executive chef for restaurants throughout the Mount Pocono area, including Marco Polo Restaurant.
Besides his parents, Michael is survived by his loving sisters, Paula Gabriele and her husband Steven of Cranston and Ann Marie Sykes and her husband Shawn of West Warwick. He was the cherished uncle of nine nieces and nephews, and great-uncle of 8 nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held on Monday, March 30th, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston.
