a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away suddenly in his home on February 22, 2026. He was born on December 7, 1959, in Beirut, Lebanon, and spent his life as a devoted family man and entrepreneur.
Michel dedicated his career to owning several businesses across Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, where he made lasting contributions to the community. He was an alumnus of Northeastern University, earning his bachelor's degree in both economics and finance. His educational background not only fueled his business endeavors but also instilled in him a deep appreciation for hard work and determination.
In addition to his professional achievements, Michel was a man of many interests. He found joy in smoking cigars, a pastime he shared with friends and family. However, nothing brought him more pride than his family. He took immense satisfaction in supporting his children and cherishing his grandson, Johnny Georges, Jr., who was his pride and joy.
Michel is survived by his loving wife, Nora (Farah) Georges, with whom he shared 33 wonderful years of marriage. He was a devoted father to his sons, Michel M. Georges, Jr. and John Georges and his wife Nichole; and his daughter, Grace Georges, all residing in Cranston; his beloved mother, Rajat (Fares) Dagher of Btaaboura, Lebanon. He also leaves behind three cherished sisters: Grace Sakr of Btaaboura, Lebanon, Rita Abdallah of Melbourne, Australia, and Rima Obeid of Btaaboura, Lebanon.
Michel was preceded in death by his father, Najib Dagher, whose memory he carried with him throughout his life.
Visitation Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 9-11am followed by a funeral service at 11am in St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 249 High Street, Pawtucket. His burial will be private in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
