Mihran 'Mike' Serdjenian
88, of East Greenwich, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Greenwood Nursing Home in Warwick. He was the beloved husband of the late Betty (Moan) Serdjenian. Born in East Providence, he was the son of the late Michael Dickran and Nevart (Dakesian) Serdjenian.
Mike was co-owner of the former Fairdeal Manufacturing of Providence, a jewelry manufacturing company that was founded by his father in 1935. He was a WW-II U.S. Navy veteran; member of Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church of Providence; the Knights of Vartan; Potowomut Country Club; and Plantation Golf & Country Club in Venice, FL.
He was the step-father of Carolyn G. Cherry and her husband Frank of East Greenwich and the late Daniel Stanton and his wife Janet Stanton of Woodstock Valley, CT; dear brother of Richard M. Serdjenian of North Kingstown and Hermine "Helen" Mahtesian of Boynton Beach, FL; loving grandfather and great-grandfather; and loving uncle of several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday, May 7th at 12 noon in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, 70 Jefferson St., Providence. Burial will be private and visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
