88, of Lakewood, NJ, formerly of East Brunswick, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 20, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond E. Offenburger for sixty years. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Mario and Viola (Magnanimi) DeAngelis and dear sister of Robert DeAngelis of North Kingstown, RI, Mario DeAngelis of Johnston, RI, and the late Dennis DeAngelis.
A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Millie’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her loving children Dianne Caracciolo of Virginia Beach, VA, Carol Rafanelli (Barry) of North Kingstown, RI, and Raymond S. Offenburger (Meredith) of Toms River, NJ. She was a cherished grandmother to John Caracciolo, Nicole Marshall, Barry Rafanelli, Ryan Rafanelli, Raymond James Offenburger, and Christopher Offenburger, and a proud great-grandmother to Dylan and Emily Marshall, and Lily Rafanelli.
Millie was an Office Manager for Winch Sales in East Brunswick, NJ. She was a respected and reliable employee. Her exceptional organization skills and warm diplomatic demeanor kept everything running smoothly. She retired after many years of service leaving behind valued colleagues and friends.
Millie was a woman of many talents, but was especially known for her passion for quilting. Her colorful, intricate quilts brought warmth and beauty to countless homes, and each one was stitched with love. She found great fulfillment in her community and donated many quilts to the Valerie Fund, Project Linus, the East Brunswick Senior Center and the American Legion. In addition, she volunteered for many years with Meals on Wheels, where she delivered not only food, but also a friendly smile and warm conversation to those in need.
Her kindness, generosity, and strong spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. We find comfort in knowing her legacy lives on in the quilts she made and the lives she touched.
A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 10 a.m. in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick, RI followed by inurnment at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston RI.
