Motoko Tanimizu Briar

67, of Rehoboth, MA and formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.  She was the beloved wife of Ronald D. Briar.  Born in Tokyo, Japan, she was the daughter of the late Masamu and Kimiko (Sawada) Tanimizu.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Ronald D. Briar, Jr. and his wife Kristen, Rebecca B. Cunha and her husband Michael; cherished grandchildren Devyn, Olivia, Alexa, Rosalie, Benjamin, and Matthew; dear brother Masaki Tanimizu and his wife Yoko; dear nephew Yuki Tanimizu.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston.  Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Monday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
