Muriel M. (Hitchins) Gallo

86, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Kent Hospital, Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Bruno Gallo. Born in Dobbs Ferry, NY, she was a daughter of the late Eva Hitchins.

She is survived by her loving children, Richard E. Gallo and his wife Elaine of Smithfield and Kathleen E. Gallo-Ruiz and her husband Arthur of Duluth, GA. She was a cherished grandmother of Lisa A. Doherty, Richard E. Gallo, Jr. and Peter J. Gallo, and the great-grandmother of Jack C. Doherty and Kayla M. Doherty.

She was the sister of the late Matthew Geisser, John Geisser, Ruth Johnson and Dorothy Carter.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME &Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
