Nancy T. (Golderese) Bertani

86, of North Providence, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter A. Bertani, Jr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Alphonso D. and Jennie M. (Del Vecchio) Golderese.

Nancy was mainly a homemaker for her children, and worked for a time as an office administrator for Harris Lumber Co. and Blue Cross and Blue Shield RI. She was also the owner/operator of Clams Italia on Federal Hill with her late husband Peter Jr.

She is survived by her loving children, Nancy M. Kohli and her husband Anu of Surrey, England, Peter A. Bertani III, MD of North Providence, Paul M. Bertani and his wife Jo’Ann of Cranston, and James T. Bertani and his wife Erin of Riverside; grandchildren Manav P. Kohli and Prithvi A. Kohli; dear sister of Ann Marie Tatulli of Johnston and the late Comillo Golderese and Alphonse Golderese, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Rd., Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
