Nellie (Vacca) Giardello
85, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at R.I. Hospital in Providence. Nellie was the wife of the late Peter A. Giardello. She was a daughter of the late Armando and Elizabeth (Nardelli) Vacca.
Nellie is survived by her two sisters, Mary Infussi of Brockton, MA and Elizabeth "Bette" FitzMaurice of West Yarmouth, MA. She was also the sister of the late Joseph P. Vacca, and leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home & Hospice Care of R.I., 1085 North Main Street, Providence, R.I. 02904.
