Nicholas R. Zarlenga
98, of Clearwater Beach, FL and formerly of Johnston, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014. He was the beloved husband of the late Antonetta V. (Papitto) Zarlenga. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Michelangelo and Emma (DiNezza) Zarlenga.
Mr. Zarlenga was a master plumber for over 50 years and co-owner with his late brother Mike of the former Zarlenga Brothers Plumbing & Heating Co. He was past president & past treasurer of the RI State Association of Master Plumbers; a member of The National Association of Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Contactors; and a member of The RI Club of Pinellas County in FL.
He was the devoted father of and Susan M. Tartaglia of Dunedin, FL and Mary Ann Leso and her husband Richard of West Warwick; loving grandfather of Stephanie, Matthew, Valerie, Nicholas and RJ; and was the dear brother of the late Michelangelo and Roland Zarlenga.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday, April 23rd at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 70 Church St., West Warwick at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
