of Wakefield St., West Warwick, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015. Born in West Warwick, he was the son of the late Andrew and Elvira (Tedeschi) Caniglia.
Nick was the store manager at the former Atlantic Mills in Olneyville Square, Providence before retiring and was a WW-II U.S. Navy veteran and U.S. Army Korean War veteran.
He was the devoted father of Sandra A. Caniglia of Warwick and Norma D. Cipolla of Cranston; cherished grandfather of Steven A. Cipolla of Cranston; and dear brother of Ann Antonelli and her husband Louis of West Warwick and the late Arthur and Eli Caniglia. Nick is also survived by his former wives, Theresa (Levesque) Caniglia of Coventry and Anne Caniglia of FL; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held on Monday, September 14th at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church, West Warwick at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors will be at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS are Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
