Nunzio Lombardi

83, of Johnston, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, August 22, 2017.  He was the beloved companion of Arlene Etchells and was husband of the late Anita (Policelli) Lombardi.  Born in Pico, Italy he was the son of the late Antonio and Marianna (Carnevale) Lombardi.

Nunzio was a master gardener and loved his gardening as well as hunting, fishing, cooking and most importantly spending time with his family.

He was the loving father of Nicholas Lombardi and his wife Eleanor of Richmond, Lisa Corso and her husband Joseph of Coventry, Michael Lombardi of Cranston; cherished grandfather of Thomas and Melissa Corso, Brittni and Jordan Lombardi; dear brother of Rosetta (Quaranta) Lombardi of San Giovanni Incarico, Italy.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held on Friday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston.  Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Thursday, TODAY, from 2 – 4 p.m., 7 – 9 p.m.
