Octavia A. (Ruggiano) Soave

89, of Johnston, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Elmhurst Extended Care in Providence. Octavia was the wife of the late Albert Soave. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Maggie (Riccitelli) Ruggiano. Octavia was a member of the former Ladies Auxiliary Knights of Columbus 3547 in Johnston.

She is survived by her loving children; Ann-Marie Iasimone and her husband Richard of Cranston, Rosemary Soave-Baptiste and her husband Michael of Narragansett, Albert P. Soave and his wife Linda, and Robert A. Soave and his wife Nancy, all of Cranston. Octavia was the sister of Pasco Ruggiano, Jr., and the late Rocco and Ralph Ruggiano. She was the cherished grandmother of nine and great grandmother of eight.

Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
