O'Neil J. Martin

94, of Vermont Street, Cranston, passed away on Monday June 23, 2014 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of 68 years to Mary (Morrocco) Martin. Born in Lawrence, Ma, he was a son of the late O'Neil W. and Rose A. (Bouchard) Martin. Mr. Martin was a Marine Veteran of WW-II seeing action in Guadalcanal, Rendova Island amongst many others. He was the father of Russell Martin and his wife Geraldine of Cranston. Brother of 9 survived by 2, Lorraine Abbaticola and Anita O'Brien. Grandfather of Tina Ciociola, Brian Martin and his wife Michele, great-grandfather of Darrien and Hailey Martin, Katherin and Nicholas Ciociola, great-great-grandfather of Lily Ciociola. His funeral will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
