Oresto Joseph Sinapi

93, of Cranston, passed away on May 23, 2016 at Cra-Mar Meadows in Cranston.  He was the beloved husband of the late Adelina “Dora” (Tortorella) Sinapi.  Born in Providence, Oresto was the son of the late Antonio and Mary (Casale) Sinapi.  Mr. Sinapi was a lithographer at JC Hall Printing for many years before retiring.  He was also an Army Veteran who served during WWII.

Oresto is survived by his four children, Ronnie “Sands” Sinapi and his companion Janice Bellino of Cranston; Linda Sinapi and her spouse, Cate Carulli of S. Deerfield, Ma.,  Carol Villatico and her partner Steven Figuerado of Cranston and Dianne Breton and her husband, Edward of Tolland, Ct.  Oresto was the brother of the late John Sinapi. He was the cherished grandfather of Holly Villatico of Cranston and Jessica, Paige and Rene Breton. He also had three great grandchildren, nieces, and a nephew. The Sinapi family would like to thank the staff of Cra-Mar Meadows and Hope Hospice Palliative Care RI for the exceptional care given to our father.

Funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston at 10:00 a.m.  Burial, with military honors, will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS: Tuesday 5:00-8:00 p.m.
