Orlando "Lonnie" Marzilli, Jr.

76, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Kent Hospital in Warwick surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Joanne T. (Garzilli) Marzilli. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Orlando Sr. and Gloria (Travis) Marzilli.

Lonnie was a truck driver for Venda Ravioli and also worked for the Providence Performing Arts Center. He was a member of the St. Mary Feast Society and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.

Besides his wife Joanne, he was the devoted father of Lonnie J. Marzilli of Cranston and Mikayla Marzilli of Plainfield, CT; stepfather of Marina (Michael) Faria and Deanna Petti all of Cranston; loving grandfather of Nico and Riley Faria; and brother of Ernest Silvia of White River Junction, VT and the late Angelo Marzilli and Joseph Silvia, Jr.

A celebration of Lonnie’s life will take place at a later date.
