Palma (Iovino) Caprio

93, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Alberto Caprio. She was born in Beverly, MA a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Iovino.

Mrs. Caprio was employed by the Providence School Department Lunch program until her retirement. Palma enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed life to the fullest, especially making her Sunday meals especially her meatballs. She also loved spending time at the Casino and buying lottery tickets. She will be missed by many.

She is the mother of Anthony Caprio and his wife Maria of Johnston and the late William Caprio. She was the grandmother of Robyn Arocho and Gina Caprio, great grandmother of Joseph Caprio and Ramon Arocho and great great grandmother of Joseph Caprio. She also was the sister of Mary Cerra of Johnston and the late Louise Parrillo, Vera Cooper and Frank Iovino.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME and Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston at 10 am. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITING HOURS Monday 4-8pm.
