PAMELA (HOLT) LUTZ

87, of Warwick, RI and Port St. Lucie, Florida died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on the evening of October 6th, 2013. Pam was born to the late Thomas and Mary (Kennedy) Holt in Attleboro, MA., on October 10,1925. After a 10-year courtship, in 1950, she married Edmund A. Lutz Sr., who was the love of her life and a loving husband for the next 63 years. Pamela was a talented artist. She studied oil painting with Herman Itchkawich, studied sculpture at the Lamb Studio, and took various art classes in the Providence area. In addition to raising their three children, Pamela was a successful Real Estate agent for many years. She also worked with Pawtucket's Chamber of Commerce, and organized local community and social events wherever she resided. She was a talented golfer, having at least one hole-in-one at Kirkbrae Country Club. She and her family were members of Kirkbrae, where she served as the Chair of the Social Committee. She loved to plan a good party! Pamela and Ned loved the tranquility of life near the water. They resided in Little Torch Key, FL.,Port St. Lucie, FL, and on Ashumet Pond in Mashpee, MA. where they enjoyed the company of their friends and family. Pam loved her time in the sun with a favorite book. Pamela is survived by her sister Ruth Stafford, her brother Jim Holt, her son Edmund A. Lutz Jr., daughter Derith Lutz and her husband Tim Rose, her Son David Lutz and Fran Lutz. She leaves her loving grandchildren; Aria Rae Santucci, Mallary Santucci, David Lutz Jr., and Milissa Lutz. She is predeased by her siblings Herbert Holt, Thomas Holt, Mary (Holt) Milligan, and Irene (Holt) Dumican. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday at 11:00 am in Swan Point Cemetery Chapel, Providence. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 5-8 pm at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the: Brain Injury Association, 935 Park Avenue, Cranston, RI, 02910.
