PASQUALE A. SCAVITTI, JR
82, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2013 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie (Vokey) Scavitti. Pasquale was born in Providence, a son of the late Pasquale A. Scavitti, Sr. and Matilda (Carlone) Scavitti. Mr. Scavitti was an electroplater for many years until his retirement.
He is survived by his loving children, Cheryl Plante of Burrillville, James Halpin of Warwick, Karen Buccafurri-Hart of Cranston, Pasquale A. Scavitti, III of Cranston and Maryann Feroce-Barbosa of Warren. He was also the cherished grandfather of 10, great grandfather of 3 and was the dear brother of Arthur Scavitti of Cranston and Owen Scavitti of Warwick. Pasquale was the father of the late Deborah Iervolino and Michael Scavitti and brother of the late Domenic and Andrew Scavitti, Matilda Moore and Peter and Vincent Lewis.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Tuesday 4-8 pm. Kindly omit flowers.
