81 of Johnston passed away on August 30, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She has bravely fought Multiple Myeloma for over 5 years. Patricia was born on June 2, 1944 in Providence, Rhode Island. She was daughter of the late Margaret "Maggie" Fiske (Rambone). She is predeceased by her sister Margaret “Peggy” Cardillo and her brother-in-law Thomas "Tucker" Cardillo.
Patsy was a devoted mother to her daughter, Dina Joy Scotto. She was a dear Auntie to Tammi Cardillo Branch, Lori Cardillo, and Thomas Cardillo. She was a cherished Great Auntie to Nicole Wahtera, Marisa Benoit, Shaunna Vanasse, Mikayla Taillon, and Paul Kelsall. She was a loving Great Great Auntie to Kaylee Branch, Madilynn Vanasse, Melody Wahtera, and Owen Wahtera. She is also survived by many loving cousins, family, and friends. Patsy grew up in Johnston, Rhode Island. She worked in jewelry, farming, childcare, baking, and sewing. She has been her family's Matriarch for over 20 years, always being the glue and peacemaker that held the family together. She was the epitome of strength and endurance, tenderness and empathy. She was selfless and went out of her way to take care of the people around her. She taught us by example the value of hard work, independence and resilience. The impact she had on everyone around her is profound.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 8:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
