80, of Cranston, passed away after 5 years of a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Madonna, Jr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (Cullen) Forkin. Mrs. Madonna was an inspector for Vitreous Inc. for 40 years, and was also the owner and president of J. Madonna and Sons. Patricia is survived by her loving children, Deborah Palmieri and her husband Anthony, Joseph Madonna III and his wife Lori-Ann, David Madonna and his wife Maria, Lori Stadelbauer and her husband Bruce, Patty Orabona and her husband Nicolas and Bill Madonna all of Cranston. She was the cherished grandmother of eight, one great-grandson, one step-granddaughter and two step-great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Kathleen Long of Cranston and the late Margaret Roy, James and Thomas Forkin. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, at 8:30 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME and Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: March of Dimes- RI Chapter, 220 West Exchange St. Suite 003, Providence, RI 02903.
