73, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital. Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Phillip J. Newman. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Pasco and Adeline (Pitocchi) Loffredo. Patricia was a paralegal at the law firm of Loffredo & Sciotti in Cranston for twenty years before retiring in 2014. She was also employed by the former Old Stone Bank. Patricia was a docent at Grace Church and served as President of Family Selection for Habitat for Humanity.
She is survived by her loving children Paige A. Kirtlink and her husband James of Cranston, Parc E. Newman of Cranston, Philip Newman and his wife Sandy of Cumberland, and Robert Newman and his wife Nelda of Chocowinity, NC. Patricia was the cherished grandmother of five and great-grandmother of two. She was the sister of Judith Raymond of Tampa, FL and Pasco Loffredo of Warwick.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in Grace Episcopal Church, 175 Matthewson Street, Providence. Anyone wishing to attend the burial is invited to meet in the Nardolillo Funeral Home parking lot following her church service to follow in procession to Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 4-8 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity of West Bay and Northern RI, P.O. Box 6743, Warwick, RI 02887-6743.
