Patricia A. (Finnegan) Pieranunzi

79, of Hope, RI passed away peacefully on Friday, February 28, 2014 at Treasure Coast Hospice, Fort Pierce, FL. She was the beloved wife of the late Gene C. Pieranunzi. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Luigi and Hanza (Verrier) Pisani. Patricia was a registered nurse, administrator, and along with her late husband was the co-founder and former co-owner of Cra-Mar Nursing home in Cranston. She was a graduate of Pawtucket Memorial Hospital, School of Nursing, Class of 1956. Patricia enjoyed traveling with her motor home, her cat Tigger, and wintering in Florida She is survived by her loving sons, Mark S. Pieranunzi and his wife Sandra of Coventry, and Craig G. Pieranunzi, CPD, ret., Major USAR ret. and his wife Donna of Port St. Lucie, FL. Patricia was the cherished grandmother of Deva, Deonna, Carl, Dean, Alayna and Shane. She was the sister of the late Thomas Finnegan. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in SS Peter and Paul Church, 48 Highland Street, West Warwick. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
